CEO and family seek removal of private address from online directories amidst stalker threats
The CEO of a mobile application with over 2 million users and a financial advisory holding company based in the United Kingdom, along with his family, has faced repeated threats from a harasser. Fearing for their safety and physical well-being, he is seeking our intervention to remove the address of his private residence from all online business directories that appear in search results when their surname is searched.
What we’ve done
Conducting investigations to identify all websites and registries publishing their primary and secondary residences in the UK, Europe, and the United States, along with their private contact details. As directors of several companies, their residential addresses have been registered as Director Service Addresses and are publicly available in business registries.
We successfully secured the complete removal of all personal addresses, birthdates, birthplaces, and geolocation information from various types of websites, including official company registers, director and executive beneficiary (People with Significant Control – PSC) registers, data broker websites, people search websites, phone directories, background search websites, unofficial census websites, former social media accounts, and user accounts
